Refund Policy
Last Updated: January 10, 2026
1. Merchant of Record
All payments for SARIH are processed by Polar Software Inc. ("Polar"), our Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, you are transacting with Polar. Polar handles all billing, payment processing, sales tax, VAT, GST, and refund processing on our behalf. Polar uses Stripe as their payment processor.
2. Refund Window
Polar reserves the right to issue refunds within 60 days of purchase at their discretion. This applies to both full and partial refunds.
To request a refund, contact Polar directly at support@polar.sh.
3. How Refunds Work
When a refund is approved:
- Full or partial refunds can be processed
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method
- For one-time purchases, access to product benefits (credits) may be revoked
- Processing time depends on your payment method and financial institution
4. Non-Refundable Fees
Important: Payment processing fees charged by credit card networks and payment processors (Stripe) are non-refundable. This means:
- The refund amount may be slightly less than the original purchase price
- This is industry standard practice as payment processors charge fees for each transaction
5. Digital Content Limitations
Important: Because SARIH credits are digital content:
- Credits that have been used for validations are typically not eligible for refund
- Unused credits may be eligible for refund within the 60-day window
- By purchasing credits, you acknowledge that digital content is available for immediate use
6. Chargeback Prevention
Polar may proactively issue refunds to prevent chargebacks, even if you have not requested one. This protects both you and us from additional fees and complications associated with payment disputes.
7. Refund Discretion and Abuse Prevention
Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Polar on a case-by-case basis. Polar may refuse a refund request if they find evidence of:
- Fraud or deceptive behaviour
- Refund abuse or manipulation
- Violation of our Terms of Service
8. Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you retain your rights under applicable consumer protection laws for products that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.
